Elan Vital 2.0 is the Ultimate Adventure Touring bike. Built around the Ultimate Adventure Touring Bar, the Richey Coralitas!

The evolution, maybe even a revolution of our adventure touring bike now makes it more capable of your off road adventure. Versatility is still a big part of the Elan Vital but now it has been improved for bigger load carrying and rougher terrain. The Elan Vital 2.0 has updated geometry and now comes with Thru-Axles front and rear. We have moved the front/center more forward with an increase rake in the fork for more stability when fully loaded with all your gear.

The Elan Vital 2.0 comes with 29 x 2.25” WTB RANGER COMP Fast rolling tires.If you need to go even bigger the frame will accommodate up to a 29 x 2.4” Tire !

Plenty of grip off the pavement while still plenty fast on the pavement. We added a bit more room for frame bags and storage and left plenty of room for full size panniers out back. The New CroMo Steel Frame and Fork both have triple water bottle mounts for Cargo Cages.

The Shimano drivetrain with a GRX Adventure Crankset w 46/30T rings & 11-34T full range cassette and Shimano Hydraulic GRX Brakes that are easy to modulate and have incredible stopping power.

The Elan Vital is the perfect anywhere touring or bike packing any adventure bike.

One thing you need when you have your bike fully loaded for a long tour is a wide range of gearing and here the Elan Vital 2.0 delivers. With the Shimano GRX Adventure Crankset w 46/30 Tooth rings Paired with an 11-34 Tooth Cassette gives you better than a 1:1 gear ratio for those long sustained climbs even while fully loaded. The Shimano 810 Series GRX 11 speed shift levers have updated ergonomic comfort benefits for long gravel or road rides. The GRX 810 front and rear derailleurs, give you sublime light action yet precise shifting with excellent gear spacing let you keep your cadence exactly where you want it.

RITCHEY CORRALITOS

For the Elan Vital 2.0 we have fitted the new Ritchey Comp Corralitos handlebar.

If you build it, they will come! We built the the New Elan Vital 2.0 frame with this handle bar in mind as the perfect fit. Adjusted geometry to perfectly match the short reach and small drop of these bars for improved handling with added comfort and stability.

This super-compact drop bar is designed for any sort of riding from off-road explorations where comfort is a priority for your off road and adventures to your practical needs of urban commuting.

The Comp Corralitos features a 15mm rise, a round top shape, and a wide 24° drop flare. Great for comfort and leverage in any situation. This innovative bar also presents an anatomical bend shape, which creates two angles that provide riders two optimized and more stable hand positions on the bar. The Corralitos also offers the shortest reach and smallest drop possible for an alloy bar. In fact, this bar is a fantastic bar option for bikes that don’t traditionally feature drop bars.

From adventurous gravel escapes, back country touring, bikepacking to more explorative pursuits around town, and everywhere in-between, the Comp Corralitos promises better ride experiences with unmatched comfort, control, and practicality.

We also made it Dropper Post compatible if you decide you need that too !
